Well, um .... hello! We have been enjoying our summer a little too much I think. Sara and I have been busy this summer and have just not been able to keep up with our little corner of blogland. I hope to get back here in a few weeks, after I get settled into the routine of homeschooling my little one for preschool. Sara will be starting hygiene school and will be very busy, so we'll be happy to hear from her whenever she gets a spare moment. I told her not to worry about blogging while she gets acclimated to her new school.
Hope you are enjoying your summer. We'll be back!!

Girls, I'm still here!!
Oh dear. I have sadly neglected this blog - something I really didn't want to do!! All I can do is apologize. I must admit, I don't have too much free time right now. After caring for my home, husband, daughter, and NAPPING ;-), there is little time left. We are doing well, and we found out that we're having another little girl. God has been very good to us indeed.
I'll be trying to find some material for this blog in the very near future. Just wanted to check in with you all.

One of those Weeks ...
Have you ever had one of those "off" weeks? I am having one this week. For example, today I attempted to make bread as I try to do once a week. I let the dough rise, and punched it down. Then I shaped it into loaves and let it rise again. It looked delicious and smelled even better. However, when I opened the oven to look at my masterpiece, it had risen to an almost gargantuan size. It was ruined.
One thing after another seemed to happen today, and I must admit that I was getting discouraged! Its been a tough week - you can read more about that at my other blog.
What should I have done? I should have stopped and prayed. I should have remembered Isaiah 40:31. I should have whispered Galatians 6:9 to myself.
What did I do? I am ashamed to say that I hid. I put Lena in her crib with a basket of books for quiet time, and I ran downstairs to wrap myself in my cozy blanket. It was only after I spent 10 minutes stewing about all the things that needed to be done, that I remembered...
To pray.
To ask forgiveness from the Lord.
To recall His promises.
To laugh at myself.
To fold up that blanket and start tackling the things I needed to do.
So my dear sister - friends, as you deal with schoolwork, other commitments, difficulties and trials, remember to reflect on His promises. He is faithful.

May We Praise Him
Wishing all of you a happy thanksgiving.
We will be busy the next few days. I must clean from top to bottom today. Tomorrow we head to relatives to celebrate with them, and friday we are having a friendly football game between the men of our church and another. Everyone is then coming to our house. Saturday I hope to take down all my fall decorations and put up winter ones.
What are you doing this weekend?

I'll be back
Once again, I apologize for not posting. Our little family is very busy and has a lot going on, so I don't have too much time. I haven't forgotten you girls! I think of you so often, and will post as soon as I can.
Much love from me!

p.s. My little girl is one today! She is such a blessing to us.

I'll be back next week!
This is a very busy week for our little family! I'm not sure whether I am coming or going, so I'd better not try to post anything creative. I just wanted you all to know that I am still thinking about you, and that I should be back next week.
My little sweetie (she's 11 months old) took her first steps yesterday ... okay, it was really one step! But she did it twice, and her daddy and mommy are sooooo excited.
I hope that all of you are having a wonderful week. I did update the website last week, and put a new Scripture, recipe, and started a bonified store. There is only one product on the shelf so far, but I am working on that. I have some ideas ... let me know if you have any as well.
Praying for grace for all of us this week ...
